Schools in Loretto

Loretto is a small town located in the US state of Pennsylvania with a population of 1,190 according to the 2000 census. The town was originally formed as one of the first English speaking Roman Catholic villages in the United States and was named after the Italian town of Loreto. One of the most prominent Schools in Loretto is the St. Francis University, an institution offering first-class higher education. The university has a history of more than 100 years for imparting state-of-the-art degree programs in diverse subjects such as business, healthcare, sciences, languages, etc. Apart from St. Francis University, there is one elementary school in Loretto; however, there are no high Schools in Loretto. High school age students need to commute to nearby schools in Ebensburg or Gallitzin.
